About Us
Indian Tanning Industries was established by Mr. Iqbal Ahmed in the year 1969 with the objective of producing Veg and chrome finish leather from raw skins.
Before its inception, the company manufactured industrial belting leather under the name Upper India leather works in 1956.
We produce finish leather made of cow & buffalo for shoes, furniture and leather goods. We have two state of art factories planned in an area of 17500 Sqm ,well equipped with modern machineries and equipment with the capability of producing around 10 million Sqft leather per annum.
Indian tanning Industries is recognized by government bodies as export house and produce leather according to European standards and follow REACH norms. To ensure consistency in quality, all our products DO NOT contain restricted chemicals specified by the norms. A complete testing report, Physical and chemical is attached with every batch of our product.
In terms of physical tests, we have our in-house laboratory fully equipped with advanced testing devices, capable of testing every batch of leather.
We ensure that ecological balance is not disturbed by our activities. We have in-house Water treatment and chrome recovery plants by which we recycle the waste and reuse the water and chrome liquor in our production process.
Every step taken by us ensures that we produce quality products in the market by means of innovation and simultaneously take care of our eco system.
